Hello everyone! I'm SO happy to announce this big giveaway of my most favorite things from the year!
Every year, I do a sort of "yearly favorites" video. The best of the best products that stood out to me above all others throughout the year.
I figured that this year I would start a new tradition. To share my yearly "best" with you all in the form of a giveaway. My favorites = your prizes. Makes sense, right? I've had SO much fun putting this together for you all! A little gesture to give back to you guys. I wish I could give each and every one of you the biggest prize ever, but we all know that is definitely not realistic. So I've put together 3 HUGE prizes for 3 lucky winners containing all my top favorites from the year. A big box of favs.
Be sure to check out the video below for all the details on my 2012 favorites/prizes and more details for the giveaway.
If you want to get right down to the giveaway rules, then all you need is listed below...
Tiffany's 2012 Favorites Giveaway RULES/HOW TO ENTER:
To enter, leave a comment on my "2012 Favorites GIVEAWAY!" video, telling me what YOUR favorites were from this year. DO NOT enter here. The winners will be selected from the comments of that particular video ONLY.
You must be 18 or have a parent's permission to enter.
OPEN INTERNATIONALLY
*You may enter/comment as many times as you like, but be sure to change up the wording a bit so it's not automatically flagged as spam by YouTube (different than one of you flagging perfectly fine comments for spam, which still allows me to see them so don't waste your time doing that to others = bad karma for you) ;)
The 3 lucky winners will be announced right here on my blog on December 24th! I may also do a video, but they will be announced here either way for sure.
So good luck to you guys! Be sure to re-enter daily to improve your chances :)
Hello, Lovelies! Hope you guys are having a great week! First of all, where the heck is December going?? Seriously, I know I'm just another person saying the typical, "Oh this year is flying by," sort of thing, but SERIOUSLY. Seems like yesterday I was celebrating December 1st (and kicking of my December "no buy") by scoping out the new Target/Neiman's collection in this post...
Which, ahem, is still fully stocked at my Target. #theyreoutoftheirMINDSwiththoseprices. #tiffany, hashtagsdontworkonblogs.
Regardless, December sure is in a hurry...
OH and speaking of, Christmas is right around the corner! I've got something super special planned for you guys (and my YouTube subscribers), so be sure to keep your eyes open the next few days for something BIG. That's all I'm saying.
Ok ok, so on with the outfits... Like I always say, done super informal and Instagram-style.
Keepin' it real.
I'm starting with my fav outfit from this group. Really simple, but put-together and stylish.
Both tops, J. Crew, 7 For All Mankind pull-on double knit leggings, Tory Burch "Sophie" wedges, Club Monaco necklace
Can't believe it took me so long to bust out this lil foxy beauty. I picked this up (at your recommendations) right after posting my HUGE Forever 21 Haul. Anyway, I got it. I love it.
Old Navy Fox Sweater, 7 For All Mankind Gwenevere skinny jeans, House of Harlow necklace, C. Wonder initial bracelet, Louis Vuitton Eva Clucth
I wore this on a super rainy day (I'm talking, monsoon rainy). The hood came in major handy.
J. Crew hoodie, 7 For All Mankind leggings, Frye "Carmen" harness boots, Louis Vuitton Eva Clutch
Um. These pants. Love. They're a little more gold than they photographed. But they're fabulous either way. They're pretty bold, so I kept the rest of the outfit relatively simple.
Another super simple, yet stylish outfit. Gotta love a good graphic sweater. Put it on with anything and it's an instant, put-together outfit. The first time I wore this, Brad said it reminded him of Tron. Makes me love it even more.
J. Crew sweater, 7 For All Mankind The Skinny jeans, Tory Burch jeweled bow flats
I wore this out to dinner with my sis-in-law. And yes, white blazers are totally appropriate after labor day, for those of you old-school fashion rule police. Coming from a southern gal (which gives me some precedence in this matter, as some Southerners can be incredibly particular about this rule), it's totally fine. The rule applies to handbags and items worn below the waist... (pants, shoes, etc).
So blazers? Totally fine.
However, I would totally wear a nice white bag or maybe even pants whenever I wanted.
I'm a loner... a rebel. (name that movie)
Zara blazer, Banana Republic top, LNA Leggings, Steve Madden boots
7 For All Mankind Skinnies (the website says they're "Dusty Pink", but they're more of a warm brown-tan), Pour La Victoire suede pumps
So that's all the OOTD goodness for now! To see them as I post (with not as much detail, of course...but still...) You can follow me on Twitter and Instagram!
Happy Friday, Loves!! So this week I decided that instead of posting my annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Inspired makeup tutorial (as I've done for the past 4 years), that I would change it up a bit. After checking out the actual makeup looks from the show this year, I just wasn't feeling it. Mainly because it was SO similar to the 4 looks I've done in the past of the same name.
So I decided to jump right in to the holiday tutorials, which are always my favorite types to do throughout the year. I'm sure lots of you have holiday parties to attend/host this month, so I became inspired by that. So I did a tutorial not only for a beautiful white, sparkly holiday look, but also included a holiday outfit idea as well! I'll be doing a few more holiday makeup looks and lots more holiday outfit ideas too so be sure to look for those! Also, don't miss my holiday nail ideas coming up here and on Instagram. Hope you guys love it!
(not shown in video) Loreal Lumi Foundation Sigma Brow Kit
Outfit details...
Rather than saving this for my usual collective OOTD posts on here, I decided to go ahead and tell you guys all about it since it was shown in the video.
I LOVE this top! You may remember it from my recent HUGE Forever21 haul... This top was BY FAR the most commented and asked about item from that particular video. Most of you all commenting about it were saying that it was either sold out or nowhere to be found on the website.
I went back and found the exact name and style number of the top, just in case you really want it and would like to stalk out their website until it returns. Hope this helps! "Bejeweled Shoulder Top"
style # - 2030186867
Forever21 top, 7 For All Mankind Skinnies (faux leather-ish), Pour La Victoire suede pumps
Let me just say before sharing what all I purchased from this collection that I bought NOTHING I expected to buy. Yes, I had looked at all the items on the preview page on the Target website weeks before the collection launched (and once again yesterday just to make sure of my choices). I knew EXACTLY what I wanted and was getting.
And then I went inside and apparently became a different person.
At my Target location, it wasn't "madness" by any means. Well, there was one intense woman that literally stood outside the doors for 20 minutes prior to the store opening (I guess we weren't any better because we were eating our breakfast watching her dedication from the car...) who promptly went into the store when the doors opened, grabbed a shopping cart, and starting JOGGING toward the section of goods. She was also at least 10 months pregnant, which made her that much more intense. On another note, I applaud you, pregnant power-walkers.
Anyway...
So my friend and I followed the woman (but at a much slower pace) to the back of our store to the larger than expected section of goodies. For a moment it was just us three and then others started pouring in.
These were my original "needs" from this collection...
Yes, that is a lunchbox and thermos. It's by Tory Burch. I'm not ashamed to say that's the only reason I wanted it. Because who doesn't need a lunchbox and thermos?? I had convinced myself it was a practical purchase, but then I saw them in person and the love just wasn't there, ya know? I didn't want to force it. So I walked away from those little guys. Then I checked out the Lela Rose top I had my eye on. I tried it on and wasn't in love with it either. I wish it looked more lacy and less floral. At $69.99 I just couldn't justify it unless I was super into it. And I wasn't.
So I moved on to the children's collection. O. M. G. Cutest little girls' dresses EVER. I picked this one up by Marchesa and decided to put it in my cart.
Then I saw the $99 price tag and decided my invisible, imaginary 1 year old daughter of the future just wasn't that fancy.
So what items DID I buy, you wonder?? Some unexpected home stuff...
This set of 4 sweet little dessert plates with 18k gold rim by Tracy Reese. ($39.99)
They came in a cute little box I kept for storage when I'm not using them.
But seriously, how cute?? I love that they're all unique. I added them to our dining room table right when I got home and fell even more in love with them. I like the layered look of the charger, dinner plate, and dessert plate in different styles.
I also purchased what was my "splurge of the day"... or week. Or basically month, since this was my last "hoorah" before going on my December "no buy". See how I did that? Yeah, I mean, since this was the 1st, it basically didn't count. Plus I had been planning it that way. So, bam. Justified.
HUGE tray by Altuzarra. $79.99. Yeah, it was expensive, but it's HUGE. ...and very heavy. And again, totally justified because since our coffee table top is tufted, it requires a tray for knick-knacks and assorted tchotchkies. Both of which are actual words, btw.
But I'm super happy with it. I love the gold detailing and the faux-croc textured inside (with tempered glass over it). It feels really nice and sturdy. Yes, trays can be sturdy... right? I love that it's big enough to style one side with some stacked books and still have room on the other for something else. Like knick-knacks and tchotchkies.
As for the clothing (which I expected to spend the most on), I was impressed, but not impressed. The items were nice, but either fit terribly or were way too expensive for what they were. So that was a little disappointing. Other than that, it was actually a fun collection to shop! Very random and different items. Really pretty pieces.
So tell me... What did YOU guys pick up? Anything you have your eye on??
Gotta love accidental nail-art. Today I was feeling a navy and gold look. When trying to create a sort of "ombre" gold-on-navy effect, I totally failed and when trying to fix it, came up with this...
I seriously impressed myself. Seriously enough to create a quick tutorial sharing this easy nail art goodness with you all.
Hope you all are having a wonderful week! The past ten days have been full of lots of family gatherings (Thanksgiving) and outings. Speaking of, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Can you believe November is almost over?? Insanity.
Anyway, here are my recent OOTD's. Usually taken "Instagram-style"
Because let's be honest, I don't have time for a full-out faux professional photo shoot prior to leaving the house every. single. day... haha
OH and I almost forgot! In lots of these photos over the past week, I'm wearing items from my recent HUGE Forever 21 Haul. Don't miss that video! It's seriously the largest haul I've ever seen. Gotta love Forever 21 and the hidden gems you can find there on the cheap!
Hope you guys enjoy!
Me and my fav scarf. Ever. Perfect shopping outfit for a cold day when you don't want to lug around a coat.
LNA top, 7 For All Mankind pull-on stretchy "jeggings" (not sure of the exact style name), Frye "Carmen" Harness boots, LV scarf and bag (35)
I wore this outfit to celebrate an early Thanksgiving with my husband's family. We had to travel a bit and this outfit was super comfy.
Splendid top, J.Crew bubble necklace, 7 For All Mankind Skinny jeans (shock.), Tory Burch Flats, French Connection peacoat
My Thanksgiving Day outfit. We celebrated Thanksgiving at our house this year which was really nice. Lots of family and food. Such a fun day.
Madewell top, 7 For All Mankind Gwenevere skinny jeans, Tory Burch flats, Forever21 necklace
I wore this out to do some Christmas shopping and to dinner with the hubby.
Forever21 top, 7 For All Mankind skinnies (I have multiple pairs and I'm obsessed, what can I say...), Tory Burch bag, House of Harlow necklace, J. Crew flats
LOVE this outfit. LOVE this chambray... the studs give it an unexpected and different twist. Great alternative to the plain old chambray you can find anywhere.
Forever 21 top, 7 For All Mankind pull-on leggings, Target Boots, J. Crew headband
Another great find from Forever 21. I LOVE this top so much, I can't even.
Forever 21 "fashion capitals" top, J. Crew "Schoolboy" blazer in navy, Express necklace
...and finally, busting out the exposed socks with boots thing again. Cute look, but not feeling it as much as I did last Fall. :/
Tory Burch cashmere tunic (FIND OF MY LIFE. Scored this at a deep, unbelievable discount last year), Forever 21 pants, Steve Madden Boots, Target knee socks, LV Neverfull GM and LV Leopard Bandeau
So there ya have it! This week's looks. Hope you guys enjoyed!
I'm SO excited to share this look with you all! Even more excited that I actually waited to see the movie before I did a tutorial on this... In the movie, Bella's makeup (as a vampire) was gorgeous. Super enhanced features, thick and flirty lashes, and porcelain skin. I love how most of the female vampires in the movie tend to have that "lit up", mesmerizing look that I've been dying to recreate. Not scary or dark in any way. But it can be a bit tricky to create a really enhanced and flattering look while adding nothing rosy and covering any pink around your eye. So I hope you find this tutorial helpful and easy!
While watching the movie, I just happened to realize that this look would be PERFECT to recreate with my new limited edition Defining Eyes palette, available TODAY from Sigma Beauty! You can get yours here. Don't forget to enter the promo code "TIFFANY" to save on your purchase!

This has been SUCH an exciting week! The release date for my limited edition Defining Eyes palette for Sigma Beauty is HERE!! I wanted to do a little (well, pretty big actually) post giving you all some exclusive discount updates as well as some more detailed photos of the palette itself.
Before I get too ahead of myself, hopefully you guys have been following my journey on here for a while now and are familiar withmy new palette.
Basically I wanted to create a palette that worked. One that wasn't a typical "neutral" palette which sometimes are too basic and limiting with the looks you can create. I also wanted to get away from the other typical type of palette... those composed of a random mash-up of fun colors that usually require other products to make it work.
So I created a palette with colors that all work together flawlessly to create looks from the most natural and toned-down, to the most dramatic. Aside from being able to create beautiful looks with the palette, I also made sure the products worked together to create the most flattering eye effects. Such as making your eyes look bigger, brighter, more awake, creating a thicker lash illusion, etc. Like I said, a palette that worked.
A really helpful booklet comes with each palette containing photos of different looks and eye effects I've created with the palette as well as step-by-step instructions on how you easily recreate these with my palette. Here's a sample of the looks and eye effects in the booklet...
So from start to finish, I completely envisioned this palette. The concept, the products, the colors. All which work together to create exactly what I had wanted and more. It was so wonderful working with Sigma Beauty on this and they made sure that everything I wanted and envisioned happened. It's been such a rewarding experience. I didn't just put my name on something that someone else created. I really am proud of this palette and I created it with you all in mind. I hope you all love it!
OH and can we please talk about the gel liners for a minute??
I knew I wanted to include liners and shadows together in this palette. So not only does it include the FIRST ever gel liners for Sigma Beauty, but a double-ended pencil as well. No worries about them drying out... The gel liner pots are REMOVABLE so you can use them outside of the palette and come with a nice lid you should replace every time (which I removed for the photo). I was so picky about the gel liners. I'm a liner girl and I like my black and brown to be super pigmented. These totally are... and they are really long-wearing.
Ok, ok... so here is what the palette/kit contains:
8 eye shadows
2 gel liners
1 "Brighten-Up" double-sided pencil
2 brushes (double-sided) E55 & E30
Booklet with photos and my instructions for different looks and effects you can create with this palette
*Also, with every Defining Eyes order, you will receive a free E05 travel-sized liner brush which is a perfect addition to the palette. ;)
eye shadows (left-right): In the Dark, Midnight, Fog, Halo
Gel Liner in Blackout
Gel Liner in Chocolate
Gel Liners: Blackout (top), Chocolate (bottom)
"Brighten Up" double-sided eye pencil
E30 & E55 double-sided brush
Also, I hope you all got a chance to see my "First Look" post a few weeks back where after teasing you all long enough, I finally revealed the inside of the palette. I also shared lots of photos from my Defining Eyes pre-launch event at the Mall of America.
It was such a successful event and SUCH and incredible and fun experience meeting you all and seeing your reactions in person to the palette. The lucky peeps who came that day even got to purchase the palette before anyone else.
I've been completely overwhelmed with all of the love, photos, and amazing compliments I've received since from the people at the event who have been enjoying my palette. I cannot WAIT until all of you are able to get one. It's going to be so unreal knowing that my little "creations" are going all over the world!
Keep in mind, this is a limited edition palette (quantities are limited). So be sure to take advantage of my discount code and get yours while you can!
