A Few Paris Trip Photos...

In honor of the Paris Palette releasing this week, I figured it was FINALLY time to post some of my many personal photos from my trip to Paris.

This trip was truly amazing. Last September, I traveled to Paris with Sigma Beauty and six other beauty gurus to gather inspiration to create our own shade in this beautiful palette that would be totally inspired by the city.  I'm so happy with how it turned out!

Also be sure to check out my interview about the experience of developing the project in Paris here.

Hope you guys enjoy the photos! They bring back such wonderful memories.

In this post I share an exclusive discount code for my readers, detailed swatch photos and 2(!) videos featuring the palette (a tutorial video and a vlog video about our trip to Paris, details on the palette development and trip photos). Craziness. So just buckle up and hang on because here it comes... haha.

I've been SO very excited to share this limited edition palette with you all. Seriously, I've been itching to tell you all the details since September when I traveled to Paris with Sigma Beauty and six other beauty gurus where we gathered inspiration from the beautiful city to develop our own shades in this gorgeous palette that came together beautifully.  The day is FINALLY here!  I give you.... the Paris Palette.

Each of us designed one eye shadow based on a monument or place in Paris. We also collaboratively designed the rest of the palette together.
The shade I designed is called "Eiffel". Inspired, of course, by the Eiffel tower. It's the deep black shade on the far left with the multicolored sparkle. The sparkling lights that shine from the tower at night were my inspiration for creating this shade.
I absolutely love it because it's so very versatile.  From everyday looks, to the most dramatic... Anything is possible with this palette.

I Got Gucci II for $4 Say Whaaaat?

I really hope Ulta isn't changing their rewards system any time soon. I've heard rumors that it's going to become more like a Sephora-type system, where you redeem little "sample" type items immediately when you reach certain "levels".
I'm not a fan of that.
I like my $40 credits for fragrances. A lot.
This quarter, I actually earned enough points for... get ready for it.... $80 toward fragrances.
That's right.  I may be addicted to shopping at Ulta.

For the details on what I picked up this month at Ulta and how I spent my rewards points, check out the video below!

Purple and Pink Spring Makeup Look

LOVING this combo for Spring! Purple and pink are so easily combined and can actually be quite wearable. I really wanted to combine these two shades because I've found that a lot of people, even those scared of color, can usually pull off purple with little fear.  Pink, however, is another story. It's one of those shades that can throw some a bit where eye shadow is concerned. So to show you how easy it can be to wear, I combined it with purple for a surprisingly easy and fun look.
Don't forget to check out the video below for a step-by-step tutorial.

Perfect Winged Liner Technique- SO EASY & Long-Wearing

Where makeup is concerned, people generally comment BY FAR the most on three things. My foundation, my eyelashes, and my eye liner. People always want to know the easiest way to create a winged look, because let's be honest, it can be tricky. When I first started using liquid liner years ago, there is NO WAY I could have created a perfect winged look. Working with liquid liner in general can be very tricky for beginners, and something that takes some practice with more traditional formulas.
Luckily, I discovered some "pen" style liquid liners a few years back (when I first used MAC's Penultimate liner) and I was impressed at how easy they were to use. For some reason, using them really didn't "stick" with me until recently. I've been using these "pen" liners non-stop. Seriously, can't remember the last time I used any other type of liner. My favorite I've tried? By far, the Revlon Colorstay Pen.
So if you can use a marker or a pen, you can do this, I swear. Nothing tricky about it. I also am in love with the thinner (but still very pigmented), almost stain-like formulas of these. Perfect for these warmer months because they are so long-wearing.
Alright, so enough pen-liner praise.
Check out the video below for a step-by-step tutorial on how to create a perfect winged look. Did I mention how easy this is?? Seriously. Easy as pie.

Tiffany

Spring/Summer Foundation Trick & Tutorial: LONG WEARING

When the weather changes, so should your makeup routine. It just makes good sense. Warm weather = time outdoors = high temperatures = sweat = something that just does not mix well with makeup.
Equals no one likes that. Or your sweaty runny makeup face.
Couldn't resist.

So I wanted to share this great way of applying makeup during these warmer months in a way that keeps your makeup looking flawless, gives you great coverage, and really uses little product. So you're not suffocating underneath layers of products or heavy foundation.

To see my trick and my current Spring/Summer foundation tutorial, check out my video below!
